I am new to iPhone and find it harder to do file transfer when comparing to android phone. I own an iPhone 6s plus now and look for a way to transfer the text messages from android to the new iPhone.

I did my homework and successfully transferred the contacts. However, still didn't figure out how to transfer text messages. Any suggestion here?

Using Google Voice on Sprint with my old Android EVO. All my texts are forwarded to Google voice and I have then on my iPhone in Google Voice. Not sure if or how this works with other carriers.

If you didn't have Google voice, I think you have to try some third party app like Mobiledic Phone Transfer program, which can transfer text messages from Android to iphone, but it's not free, I've purchased one key a month ago, if you need the key, I can send to you, give me your email.
    This is the Mobiledic:

Thank you for the recommendation. This is the best one i have tried in last 2 days. For others, it's either not support latest iOS 9 or not completely transfer the text messages.

I'm really late to this, but does the Move to IOS app not help with this?It only works when the phone is booting from a new or from a hard reset, though.

To transfer text messages from Android phone to iPhone, you can ask help from Mobile Phone Transfer tool on computer via USB connecting cord. It's easy and safe. Of course, we can also use Google account to do the text messages transfer between mobile phones. Check the details online.
