I have a Motorola Razor 3 I bought on Ebay but it is set for Verizon Network and I use Alltell Network. Can I change the network on my phone?

You can try and activate in on Alltel, but there's no guarantee it will work. Depending on where you are you'll either become Verizon soon or you're in an area where Verizon will be divesting Alltel's assets to another carrier, which in both cases make using your RAZR pointless.

You can see if Alltel will accept the ESN number. This is the number needed to activate a phone (again there's NO guarantee this will work at all).

You RAZR has Verizon's stuff on in and unless you now how to flash your phone, there's no easy way to get that stuff off the phone.

It can be done, but it can be complicated and not worth the wasted time it will take to get it to work properly. With the Alltel merger in process, inlcuding the divestitures, this throws everything up in the air.

Yea, I think I will have to wait on the merger to complete. I called and they are hoping it will only be a couple months. Can not complain since I got the phone free.
