As I understand it, the life timer is not supposed to be reset. Therefore, you aren't going to find any easy way of doing it.
The only way to reset a life timer is to update your phone. I had my 3360 updated. Before update: 0684:00 After update: 0000:00 Currently: 0434:00
I had my 3360 updated by Nokia from v1.04 to v2.06 and the life timer DID NOT reset. It is possible they reset your on purpose or something went wrong during the update and they had to reset it.
Yeah, had it updated on some other phones and it didn't reset. I think the person that updates it has the option to enter the number again, and if that person feels like the timer is important, they prolly' enter it.
The Lifetimer is like the odometer on a car, it "can't" be reset. But if you want to, search yahoo for data cable software programs, and some of those will do it.
Yes...the lifetimer can be reset with the proper software..however..as stated..it really should not be reset. It is similar to "turning back" the odometer on a car. Some fradulent refurb companies this software to reset the life timer to zero and thus try to sell the refurbs as new units. Very interesting software program though..
