I recently started with CellularOne/Alltel and have been very pleased with the coverage! I chose a Nokia 6015i, as it was recommended by every store and dealer for its great RF. Also rated well was the Motorola V262. The 6015i has been working well, except I cannot seem to find or figure out how to get the PRL to show. It would be interesting and nice to know. I can't find it in any menu. If there are ideas, I would much appreciate them. Thanks!

p.s. I hope the customer service changes with Alltel completely taking over in February 06. The CellOne reps have not been pleasant.

Try *#837# That's what does it on Verizon Nokias at least.

I knew that you were going to be satisfied with ALLTEL. They are a great company and they, as well as the old WW/CellOne build out their networks VERY well in the areas they serve, and have great pricing plans.

ALLTEL seems to be quite a customer oriented company, not like some of the biggies ;)

Thanks for the help Andy84094! I very much appreciate it. I will try the code. The positive feedback about Alltel is certainly nice to hear. Thanks!

The code #837# didn't do anything. Thanks for the help. Any other ideas?

Well to update the PRL you would have to use *228, but to find the PRL version on your phone I'm not sure....

Andy, I wasn't paying enough attention. Sorry 'bout that. I only tried the #837#, but after a second look the *#837# is what did the trick! The PRL is 1105! From what they told me it is Alltel/WW/MWW, Verizon, USCellular, Sprint, then any open tower. That should do the trick. Thank you for the help!! Happy New Year!
