Hi. I have a Nokia 6560 phone that I'm selling and I can't erase my stored number. When I turn the phone on, it shows my current phone number in the introduction.

Does anyone know how to delete or change that number?

    Thanks

I am not sure but when the new person gets the phone their number will take the place of the number being shown.

The 6560 is a TDMA phone so once a new account is activated with that phone's ESN/serial number, the old number should be replaced.

Enter *3001#12345# and scroll to NAM1. Where you see entries for MIN and/or MDN, clear your phone number, and replace it with something like 0000000000 or 1234567890.
