Good poll question -- thanks for posting it.

I voted every week. Something usually happens where I needed re-boot. Either I run the battery to 0, or it freezes.

I can't vote in this poll. You should have added the option of Every day.

I restart my BB once per day (at the end of the day) via Quick Pull.

Generally every couple of weeks, but this varies. It's more when I want to than on a set schedule.

It's pretty much a given that someone will find something that was omitted. I'm not surprised.

Since my mobile phone is my only phone I tend to leave it on for weeks at a time. I'll restart if something doesn't work exactly right for instance I just restarted recently since my "idle" screen saver wasn't working properly and a restart fixed it. On another phone I've had to do it when something doesn't work quite right such as internet not working. I also think it may be also influenced by if you have a GSM or CDMA phone.

No set schedule on the restart, but it is usually once or twice per week...

Of course it's a given. But do you really think the percentage of people who keep to the "six months" schedule is higher than those who restart every day?

I chose every few weeks, although I don't have a set schedule either. My phone generally stays on 24/7 and I only reset when I have a problem.

My phone stays on 24/7 as well. I usually only reset once every 6-8 weeks (as needed)

Well, I put every 6 months, but it really is 'as needed'. The phone gets rebooted during any updates in OS, like the week before, traveling on airplanes, but other than that, it is pretty rare. I know it is good to reboot now and then, but the iPhone keeps working, so I don't feel the need to reboot any sooner.

Is this statement directed at me? I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with that statement.

At the minimum, there should have been an option of restarting your device every day. I might be in the minority in this forum, but if you would have surveyed my family and relatives, the majority of them restart their devices on a daily basis.

No, it's not directed at you. Every time a poll is done someone's bound to find a question that wasn't asked that applies to them.

You can make a poll and cover all grounds.

As the other poll indicates, a lot of people don't have their phones on all the time, so they would be rebooted daily, as I do.

I restart as needed. It would be great to do it every six months, but as much as I test programs, ROMS, etc... restarts happen a lot. :)

Or the poll can easily be edited so that users that re-boot once a day can be added....
    common courtesy.

I was under the impression that modifying a poll zeroed out any responses that have already been made on a poll.

If it really upsets you it's possible that you could change a poll being all supermoderatery.

I could change it and keep all the current responses, but i don't think your thread is important enough or worth the effort.

I have several batteries for my Blackberry. When the battery runs out, I drop it in the charger and put a fresh battery in the phone. So every time I change batteries-- every day or two.
