i have so many phones, its not evan funny. i have always saved them, cause they cost so much, and are worth so little, after a while. some day i need to count them. but i would guess between 30 to 50, or more.

the one that sticks out was a moto, 3000 select. it was used, and free, from voice stream. i had the firefighters special. 10.00 a mo. and used a sim the size of a credit card. 8 k if i remember right.
before that i had a brick from swb mobilty, a nokia 638 i think, and a 918 nokia, then i tried sprint, loved the phone and service, but had to climb on top of the well house to talk at home. hatted cs, so i tried att.

    lets see if i can remember some of them. 5190, 6190, 8290, 3590, 3390, 3595, 3395, 6230, ect, ect.
    moto v600, 551, siemens s46, nokia 6340 i, ericsson t28 world.
    my fav is any nokia.

a lot of phones i have many of, 4 or 5 8290's, 3390's, ect ect. i think you get the picture.

my hobby is cell phones, dan.:loony:

We had a flip motorola that we got with USC in 1995 or 96.

Had that until we switched to the Nokia Flips - 3160's, I think.

Then I got my LG 4400 when I switched to Verizon in 2002.

And now my Moto v557 with Cingular.

I don't move around between phones much, though we've used them for 10 years!

Ok, I guess I'll add an update here... Since my last post about a year ago I've added:

    4. LG CU320 (for about 26 hours before I couldn't stand it anymore and took it back to the store.)

    5. Moto Razr V3 Black (What I got when I traded in the LG)

    6. HP iPAQ 6515 (Bought from AZcellphoneJunkie early this summer)

    7. Moto V180 (Given to me by my niece when she got a new phone.)

    9. Radio Shack brand "Brick" phone which I modified as a Bluetooth accessory.

and I'm looking a buying an old Motorola A845 to play w/ 3G until moto gets something new out there.

    Kyocera K9 (Virgin Mobile)

I have noticed that the Motorolas and the Samsungs have come a long way since I last owned each of these devices :) I'm sure that my collection/history doesnt begin to compare to some of the other OPs but my pals clain I go thru lots of phones; I really dont... I dont have the $$$!! Most of the phones I get are affordable or come as replacements (i.e. like the Samsung a460 that was replaced 5 times or the Nokia replacing SE b/c of defects)

Now I'm in the middle of a contract w/ 2 lines, I wont be getting any new VZ phones anytime soon lol; I may get one of those cheap Cingular refurbs for prepay or buy an AlltelU trimode eventually.

    Don't know.

    Let's see 3 phones every 2/3 years since 1984-1995. 1995-2006 4 phones swapped out every 2/3 years.

Mostly Nokia, Samsung, LG and Motorola.

Will look back on the bills and see if I can figure it out.

I think I've caught the bug too. I've gotten more phones in the past 6 months than I have in the previous 6 years. (And I have another one coming in the mail right now!)

:lmao: I think I'm about to inherit my brother's RAZR when the KRZR comes out... I have the cell phone addiction but my brother has all the money. Ah, well, I'll be happy to be two years behind the times, after all, that's where I've always been when it comes to cell phones.

    I love the phone.

Plus, it makes sense for me to just use a Verizon phone since everyone I talk to (except a couple of people) have Verizon. It means free calls for me. :)

Gamer, I have to agree! I've had my Motorola Q for a month and I love it as much now as the day I got it. :D

The extended battery has been a life saver for me with my push email service. For $20, i recommend it to anyone that wants to get more than 1 day from the unit.

Also, Gamer, I will respond to your PM in just a minute.
