Well since I've been with Cingular way back when it was Links, I think that was the name, 1989. I signed up in a Radio Shack and bought the bag phone. I must have over 20 phones since then. I can't even remember the names. At one time I had an install and a linked Nokia cell, talk about lame.

I go through phones like I go through underwear :lmao: :lmao: maybe I should use a different analogy!

Fortunately I sell most of the old phones when I get new ones so it offsets the cost a bit. Example, I got $150 for my old V600 from a friend that cost me $300 and put it towards the purchase of my 6230. Helps to keep things from getting out of control!

Here's the deal though. Even though we are still 3 months from the wedding date, we already have an agreement. She likes purses, I like phones. Therefor, whenever she wants to get a new purse, I get a new phone.

Example: She just bought a new Coach purse, so I bought my Nokia 6230! Nice arrangement that we have!

Damn, my wife likes purses, too but she buys them for $1 or so at vintage stores, Salvation Army, etc. I don't know that I would want any phones from the Salvation Army and even if I did they wouln't be $1. You're a lucky man, AZ.

Oh my goodness. talk about making me take a walk down memory lane.
My first phone was the original At&t go phone. huge like brick nokia phone ..don't remember the model number. Then after that ended (my dad paid for 1st year-when i was going to college) I went through my credit unions' cell phone plan and got Motorola Profile 300 from Airtouch. Then the dang credit union changed from airtouch over to att and I ended up with a Nokia 5120 phone. When I left the credit union I couldn't keep the plan that cheap...so I went without a phone for awhile. People *itched about nothing being able to find me or talk to me, so after about 8 months or so I went and signed up with Airtouch again on my own and got a Audiovox 4000...which I had for over 3 years....but it was a add on to my Mom's and step-dad's account (but I paid my bill) and eventually they ended their's so I took advantage of a new line of service and got a Nokia 3285/,but took it back about a week later and upgraded to the Motorola v120e with the blue backlight which I had close to 3 years until they fried it during a flashing (their fault!) ...they gave me another one...but it wasn't right from the start. so as some of you might remember from my previous posts...I quit verizon---finally went through a manager..they wiped all the fees clean, put me back on my original contract end date and sent me a Nokia 3589i phone which was great. But I was wishing to try a flip phone...eventually. So in the meantime my mom had signed up again with Verizon and got a Samsung a670 phone during promo time., and got another one free. She gave it to me. it was okay..but I couldn't get things right on it. I think it was defective..the speaker verbirated really bad and was fuzzy. So they exchanged it for a LG 7000 which I dearly loved! But Verizon I ended with and transferred my number to a home account (got married,...got a house phone) But I didn't want to go without a cell, so got T-mobile prepaid. It came with a Nokia 6010 phone (but I never used it...sold it) and got myself the Nokia 3220b phone, which is a great little phone, just bummed I couldn't get the mp3 tones to work on it like on my LG. Anyway I recently got the Motorola v360 phone and I'm extremely happy... I will stay with that for awhile. (unless someone else gives me a new toy...:browani: )

    So let's see.
    1. Nokia ???? (at&t go phone) around 1995
    2. Motorola profile 300 (airtouch)
    3. Nokia 5120 (at&t)
    4. Audiovox 4000 (airtouch/verizon)
    5. Nokia 3285 (only had a week/verizon)
    6. Motorola v120e (had like 3 years)
    7. Nokia 3589i (verizon)
    8. Samsung a670 (verizon-something wrong with it..returned within a week)
    9. LG 7000 (verizon)
    10. Nokia 6010 (came free with my t-mobile to go activation -I sold it)
    11. Nokia 3220b (t-mobile)
    12. Motorola v360 (t-mobile)

Everyone in my family calls me a cell phone nut...but I don't think my list is too bad. This is over the course of 11 years of service. And 2 of the phones I didn't keep and the early years with the credit union changing, etc. I didn't have much of a choice to stay with the phone for very long. Yeah..that's my story and I'm sticking to it!:browani:
Thanks for the walk down memory lane! :D
