This thread was a fun read, it's interesting to see people's genre of autos, or lack of genre. There have been some really great cars listed. I've always owned a V8, rear wheel drive 2 door. 1965 Mustang 289 Hi-Po Coupe 1998 Mustang 5.0 LX 1989 Mustang 5.0 LX 1996 Mustang 4.6 Coupe 2001 CLK430 MB Coupe RyanB DID answer the original posters question but what fun is that?
for me..the list isn't that long 1. 1975 Plymouth Valient (high school car..only had a year) 2. 1985 Buick Somerset Regal -2 door(I loved this car/took my driver's test in it. Was Mom's...I bought it from her. Had it until it finally gave up...dang I loved that car) 3. 1993 Ford Taurus (had for 3 years..traded up to the accord 4. 1998 Honda Accord ( had for 10 months..got tired of the payments and no guts under the hood...sold it) 5. 1988 Ford Taurus ( was my mom's spare car..she let me drive it for about a year until I bought my camaro which I love) 6. 1986 Chevrolet Camaro (2001-to present...I love my car! It purrs like a kitten!:browani: Vroom..vroom! It's red- I avoid the fuzz like the plague! ha ha) Hey I'm a good driver.! I've never gotten a ticket. But I'm not granny behind the wheel. They just haven't caught me.
its not a car, but when i come home from, vn. i bought a brand new 66 harly sportster, man i had more fun, got more tickets, on that bike, man.it was a chick mag. me and my girl were gonna travel across the usa, here we are at a garden, in georgia, or sc. i crashed that bike on interstate 95, in floridia, where interstate 10 starts out. if anyone is interested, i have a few more, inside that garden. well, i threw a couple more in, anyway, hehe.
Well everyone, my Buick is officially an antique now. I just got the registration renewal paperwork in the mail and it doesn't say "Emissions test req'd" at the bottom. Man am I thrilled. The engine computer took a big dump last year and I'm sure it wouldn't pass without some major work. I'm thinking about just ripping out that computer controlled carburetor and replacing it with fuel injection. That thing has always been a thorn in my side. There's a reason they only made that carburetor for 2 years before they started putting fuel injection in them. -Jay
