Mine stays on about 7 seconds too no matter what I have the key light setting on. I could have sworn when I first got the phone the external lcd stayed lit longer, but I could be wrong. How long has it been staying lit for others? Thanks.

It's definitely possible. I might just be losing my memory. I just wanted to check with everyone to make sure. Work is taking it's toll on me!
