Sorry to see nobody ever responded this, while I'm sure you've made your decision by now, and since cingular no long offers the w600i and is fixing to drop the w810 I will post purely for archival purposes. Call clarity was great on the phone, reception was slightly spotty for me but the external antenna was great in comparison to my old razr. I replaced this phone due to an agent literally reaming my :censored: without lube. I ran into a problem with the fact that nobody seemed to carry the w600i (corp stores) when cingular offered me an exchange, so I upgraded to the 8125 PocketPC which has dissappointed me in the media department in comparison to the 600. Bluetooth would have worked great (and it did in short range) had it not been one of the reasons I returned the phone. As far as the white screen of death, I personally only experienced it once and have experienced every phone I ever had lock up at some point so that wasn't bad. I will note that it was very easy to get oils and other things to adhere to the screen, and that the phone is slightly bulky when it comes to holding it to your head, but I must give kudo's to Sony Ericsson for the headphones that come with this phone, they are the bomb. In Call features are rich, including a recording option, now if only this phone had a memory slot o_O
