I have no phone nor existing contract at this time. I want the T-Mo/Walmart $30/month prepaid plan, but with the Samsung S3, rather than with only the phones T-Mo offers with those prepaid plans. So, do I go to T-Mo, purchase an unlocked SgS3, go to T-Mo online to get the MicroSim, and then get the prepaid card online from Walmart? Sorry for the 'noob' question... Thanks for any help.

I couldn't edit my OP... guess it's because I'm brand-new to the site. In my post, I didn't mean 'unlocked', but 'non-contract' phone price, ie, the full-retail, non-subsidized phone price.

Get a non contract phone for tmobile i guess around 500-600$ which they will unlock after sometime (3-4 months). Goto tmobile store and ask for the 30$ unlimited data plan with 100 mins talking. You can get that directly at tmobile dont have to go to wallmart for that.
