How do I send text with a Sprint Palm Treo 300?

    I have a Palm Treo 300 and it will not send text. I went to Sprint and it says something about adding an application to the phone but when I went to the site to do that, then it was not available. What do i do?

    The Treo 300...I am not sure that is capable of sending SMS texts. I think that is old enough that it needs to used Sprint's old web-based messaging system called "Short Mail."

    I could be wrong...but I don't think the Treo 300 can do normal texts.

    Yep, no text on the 300. The only thing I can think of is to search google for a way to do it. :(
