How do I Improve coverage in Adams county, PA?

    How do I Improve coverage in Adams county, PA?
    My Phone is a nokia 5165. Provider is ATTWS.
    Since my phone is a tri mode dual band unit can I get or use an analog nokia bshk4 rf siginal amplifier
    kit. Can my phone be put in the analog mode?

    If the phone is AT&T branded it would be very difficult to make it switch to analog. They lock the phone so that it prefers digital signals and use analog as a last resort. If you can get a hold of a Nokia 5120 you can manually switch it to analog and the same accessories that fit the 5165 will fit the 5120.

    Bobolito, ATT will NOT activate a 5120. However, if the customer fabricated the request for ESN change by telling CS that the phone is a 5165, how would mah bell know?

    if they won't let you, don't give up on the first try. Try them a few tries until you find a rep that will let it pass. They might be able to tell what model the phone is from the ESN but still you have to give the real ESN of the phone. Just tell them you need your ESN changed and hope they won't say anything.
