I was looking through the Image Gallery on here, and seeing all the panels and stuff, but I was wondering how can you tell the difference between 800/850mhz and 1900pcs panels??? Are the 800mhz's wider of bigger?? and the 1900pcs thinner??

There is no easy way to tell. Panels come in all different shapes and sizes for different coverage patterns, gain, and frequencies. Also, it's not the outside of the panel doing the work and it's not uncommon for a manufacturer to have five different antennas using the same outer panel. For those of us in the industry it's a bit of knowing the models and a bit of guess work, something you just pick up with time. There isn't a guide to what panel is used by XX carrier on XXX frequencies. Keep in mind, one market may use one type of panels and another market will use another. So what you know is Cingular in one area they may be using something different in another area.

Pretty much, find out what licences the carriers have in your area. Then go look at towers where you know the carriers.

I would say more often than not the 800 Mhz panels are thicker and or shaped differently than most 1900 Mhz panels. Most 1900 Mhz panels have a flat or slightly concave rectangular shape. But like TJ said there is a lot of variation going on so it's hard to tell for sure.
