All my screens on my phone (home screen and also all screens I can swipe to) are full of apps. But I need more. I haven't been able to figure out how to create folders (on Android ICS) so I can put icons in folders and organize my home screen. Can anybody help? thanks
Hi there, it's been a while since I used an Android but if I remember right it is pretty simple in ICS. So give the following a try: 1. Go to app that you wish to include in a folder. 2. Find a second app that you want to put in the same folder. 3. Tap and hold the second app and drag the second app to the first app that is located on your homescreen. 4. A circle should appear around the first app. 5. Release the second app and its icon will appear in the circle, behind the icon of the first app. You can put additional apps in the folder by dragging them to it, IIRC upto 12 apps in a floder. You can also change the generic title by tapping it.
That's how I create folders. Also, once a folder is created, you can drag apps from the drawer and drop them into the folder as well. Can't comment on the limits, I haven't tried to max it out. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
You can also try Apex launcher. Gives you more home screens and allows to customize the grid size, so you can fit more on one screen. Naturally, folders are supported as well.
