i just got off the phone with tmobile and the rep said that if i purchase that phone there are some chances that the phone capabilities such as internet etc... will not work with tmobile whether it be because tmobile doesnt support those functions vice versa..... but isnt the 8125 from cingular the same as the Tmobile MDA? Please help me...... is this true that my phone wont work properly..... does anyone have this PDA? Thank you in advanced....
Not true, the reason they say that is because the phone is not set by them to get to T Zones. One you get it you would need to go to here and send the OTA settings for tzones and MMS. Just use the T Mobile as the manufacturer and select MDA as the device.
when i have the phone i should do that... will i have to pay to do this? also, ill have to switch my plan from BB to Tmobile total so is tzones supported by that?
If you curently have a BB acount yes would have to switch plans. a BB plan only works on the BB but not on this one. You would also need to see what else T mobile offers for data plans in order for you not to get slapped with a lot of internet usage. The link I gave above is free and all it does is sends an OTA to your device for the settings, you will need a T mobile numebr and you also need to make sure that the 8125 is unlocked and that it will accept you SIM.
Ok i have the phone, i did that but when i tested it to go to tzones it took me to tzones in the UK.... is that normal? also... my phone is unlocked but when i call other people or they call me they cant hear me.... why is this happeneing??? what should i do?
I wonder why. That link is the one that I use for configuring the tzones for family members. Another way is you can go into your tzones account, and you can also send the configuration from there. As to why the others are not hearing you, how is the service by you and is that happening on every call?

login to you tmobile online acoutn and you will get into it from there. As to the call quality all i can say is do a reset and also check teh netwrok settings on it
