Hi i want to purchase the 8125 from cingular but i have tmobile....

    i just got off the phone with tmobile and the rep said that if i purchase that phone there are some chances that the phone capabilities such as internet etc... will not work with tmobile whether it be because tmobile doesnt support those functions vice versa..... but isnt the 8125 from cingular the same as the Tmobile MDA?

    Please help me...... is this true that my phone wont work properly..... does anyone have this PDA?

    The 8125 is basically the MDA from t-mobile. More likely than not, the phone will be locked, and you have to contact cingular for the codes, and it isnt preprogrammed for t-mobile web, etc. Theres is a tool called the t-mobile device configurator located at the top of the t-mobile forum page that should remedy most of those problems. Why wouldn't you just buy the MDA from t-mobile in the 1st place, if you dont mind me asking?

    the phone is unlocked and because the cingular phone is nicer than the MDA from tmobile :)
