Help with transfer of contacts

What type of phone & who do you have service with?

 

Your best bet at this point is taking it to a Verizon store & let them transfer them, I belive they have a service where you can back up your contacts thru the phone via v-cast or something similar & it's free.

But since you already activated the new phone, I believe the only way is via the store. I also am not sure if Motorola Phone Tools will work with Verizon, someone with Verizon service may be better help & you are probably better posting this in the Razr thread.

Yes, they have free phone book transfers as long as you are registered for MY Account online. The app is called Backup Assistant. you just download it onto the the old phone; when you replace the old one with a GetItNow enabled phone, just download it onto the new phone and Voila, contacts are transferred
