My speaker isnt working on my about a month old razr2 and i would like to know how to take the cover off. Im talking about the cover over the speaker on the back and bottom of the phone underneath of where the battery goes in and the battery cover.

This was a big problem with my old razr v3m because im a mechanic and i would always stuff would always find its way in that slot and collect in there over the speaker, It never stopped completely it would just get real quiet. This one has stopped completely but i would still like to get in there, take a look at it and then take it in for a warranty replacement.

If you open your phone up you will void your warranty, why not just take it in for a warranty replacement?

Thats what i ended up doing because the night after i posted this the phone totally died. It would either not turn on or if it did the screen would scramble. It is sent in to motorola being worked on as we speak.

Well motorola fixed my phone the last time i posted here and i used my blackberry up until a few weeks ago. Ive been using my razr2 for the last few weeks now and the speaker is full of stuff once again making the sound quiet and very distorted.

Can someone tell me where the speaker is located at on this phone?
