    LG LX8100
    Wireless Provider(s):
    Verizon..can you hear me now?
    Its just the network.....Its down alot of times..... I would say 1 out 3 times I try to connect it says try again later....i'm assuming because they are upgrading and working on things....sometimes its just a bad connection or in some cases just turn off your phone turn it on and try again............but usually its just the network always being down for something........

    Try connecting from another location. I was at work yesterday and I was trying to mess with the Get it now crap, it wouldn't connect. I tried it at house later on that night and it worked fine. Even though you have a strong signal, it'll do the same thing. Maybe the network was down. *shrug* but try to connect somewhere else.

    The Get It Now is similar to the WAP Browser...it needs a gateway to connect with (DNS #'s). Sad part is, that with these phones there is no way to manually check the DNS #'s on the phone to see if they are correct or missing. If ur phone has never been able to connect and u have been getting the error "Unable to complete request...try again later" for at least 2 days, more than likely its a DNS issue w/ ur phone. Only local Verizon store reps are able to check this using their PST tool.

    However, there are data features on the account that could be inactive. If this is the case, then u will not be able to connect to the Get it Now. An easy way to test if ur data features are active is (if u have the web browser feature) try to launch ur WAP browser and see if you can pull up the portal. If this works, then ur data features are active.

    First thing i recommend however, is calling Verizon and asking if any outages are occuring w/ the Get It Now. Like today example, we are having an issue w/ it...has been occuring for 2-3 days now.
