The ALLTEL office where we bought our phones thought they had our voicemail accounts all set up. When my wife dialed hers, my phone rang and vice versa. Now when we try to set up our own voicemail accounts we keep getting "enter your mailbox number". We've tried entering our phone numbers, pin numbers and either get the same "enter your mailbox number" or "invalid entry". This is getting frustrating. We tried following the Voice Mail pamphlet from ALLTEL with the same results, "enter your mailbox number". Can anyone out there help us? I have a Kyocera 5135 and my wife has a Motorola V60i. Contact the customer service and they should be able to reset the problem. I posted a whole list of numbers for alltel in the Southern forum a few weeks back...browse the archive and see if any of them are helpful. Good luck, Brad
Thanks, DemoMan. I found the numbers. I especially liked one of the posts who couldn't find the Retention Department. Another pointed him back to the Cancellation Number which will probably do what's necessary for Retention. I'll let you know how I come out. Thanks, lynn
