Help! Motorola Timeport p8767 in a 2002 Lincoln

    I recently purchased a 2002 Lincoln with a Motorola Timeport P8767. This phone works internally with the vehicle. It presently shows Sprint PCS and I can call them but no one else. It appears that I can not get it activated with any service providers ion Chicago. The phone hooks up to a cradle which connects to a box that has a moduler plug RJ45? and a square antenna plug. I am trying to figure out is there any way to connect the phone or is there a compatable model or a different model and cradle that can be used. Please feel free to email me at ELV469@aol.com

    First, you can't activate the 8767. Second, the installation is a Lincoln setup so they would be the only ones likely to be able to help. Most auto manufacturers don't support many services after a few years. Lots of OnStar units are about to stop working on the first of 2008, and GM so far has no replacement for those cars made before 2004.
