Help Me!!!!!!!!

    alright heres my deal, i just bought a black v3 razr so i pop my sim in and its working fine. i realize that the person i bought it from still has his 1000+ yes i said one thousand contacts on the phone. he also has photos and video as well as ringtones on the phone. is there any way i can delete the contacts ONLY on the phone as a whole, instead of deleting one by one. thank you.

    Do you have your contacts on your SIM? If so you can go in and select to copy them to the phone, and when it asks if you want to Overwrite or Combine, choose Overwrite, and it will replace the contacts on the phone with the contacts on your sim...

    Wow, that's insane. Self data loss... you'd think, in this day and age, that people selling stuff on eBay would erase all that stuff.

    The people who sold you the phone are probably wondering why all that stuff didn't transfer to the new phone.:loony:

    Some people just aren't that smart anymore. Either that or it's just plain ignorance.

    When I had to get a replacement phone, recently, I made sure to delete everything I possibly could off the original defective one. I've done this with every phone I have owned that I have either given away, sold, turned in for a rebate (years ago), or replaced. To me it's just common sense.

    just did that, but now i have 2 of every one of my contacts, anyway to delete just the ones on the phone?
