Hmmm... I wonder if the 260K is segmented, and there isn't any left for programs? Try starting with a small game, like DS Snake (it's only 10K). You can find it at http://www.CraigGiven.com/pcs.htm in >FILES >PROGRAMS >GAMES >ARCADE If that can't be downloaded, you might want to check to see if your phone needs a firmware update by taking it into a local Sprint store.
well i downloaded lots of other programs like dwsuite, zombie mansion, spruce blocks, webviewer, that benchmark utility program and al of it works now i just tried the snake program works like a charm. no problems my phone firmware version is 1.035sp what do you mean by segmented? well any help is well appreciated thanx
The 5300 is a good phone. ( I want one ) The problem is that J2ME, the standard for mobile java applications, like the games on Sprint phones, is a pretty broad standard. Just because a J2ME game works on one phone doesn't mean it will work on all phones. Unfortunately the only way to be sure the games you download will work is to download them from Sprint and that also means paying for them. Anything else is basically at your own risk. ( This doesn't mean they will damage your phone, just that they won't always work ) You best bet is using a site like craig given's or another site that is intended for Sprint users. This way the games will probably have been tested with Sprint phones. Matrixm covers all types of phones so they are bound to have content that just doesn't work for Sprint phones. TT
