Today, i called cs and asked them to allow me to roam on Tmobile network since the service was great before Cingular stopped using Tmobile here in NYC. customer service rep. told me that they will try to make 310-260(TM) priority on the list of networks available in the area where i live. So hopefully reception will improve by tomorrow. Were they bull****ting me or they can do this??? I don't know. I will let you all know by tomorrow if i get my service back as prior to MAY 26. and if it works, i suggest you all call Cing and ask them to do that.
If he manages to find a virgin (never activated) 32K NYC SIM card, all he needs to do is call Cingular and have them activate the SIM. His phone will prefer T-mobile with those SIMs.
This morning i talked to another technician who spend about 15 min on the phone with me doing something with software and some other stuff. Two hours after that i received a phone call from Cingular's north-east regional director. He promised to call me back in 24h to check on status of my reception. Believe it or not; but reception has improved a bit. Well, it took me 8 letters that i sent to Oklahoma office, 6 complaints to BBB, about 25 phone calls and several emails. I guess we all just have to be more aggressive with complaints. lets wait for another 2-3 days and see, just to make sure.
