Help: Alltel V3M Skins Don't Show Up

    I recently added a few skins to my new razr phone via BitPim but they dont show up on my phone under Setting>Personalize>Skins menu.

    help any1(one)?

    That is because BitPim cannot be used to ADD files, just to delete and overwrite. You need to use p2kcommander to add skins...

    Go into BitPim and delete ANYTHING u added that might linger. Then use p2kcommander to ADD from scratch.

    Just to make sure, u HAVE an alltel v3m right? B/c they wont work on a Verizon v3m...

    i added the files using p2kcommander as well, they still dont show up

    any advice?

    And u restarted the phone after adding them? Where dont they show up? On the phone after adding them? Or they dont show up in the program that u are using to add them?

    they show up in both programs but not in the skins menu on the phone.

    Did u restart the phone to see if they show up then? Also, which folder did you put the skins in when using p2kcommander? Also, open up p2kcommander and check the ATTRIBUTES of the skin folder, and make sure that the box labled "hidden, not shown in phone apps" is UNCHECKED. The other thought is, make sure your skin folder name MATCHES EXACTLY with the skin file names....so if u installed MotoII.ski that the folder name is MotoII.

    idk how or why but its working perfectly now
