Ok, and this one is the only one you cant perform right away. All the other ones work without hacks, as advertised The bluetooth function on the Verizon RAZR tells you what kind of bluetooth profiles it supports.
LOL which is exactly what I wanted to do. I've been reading your thread about the seems. I am not sure Mine works, Is there a way to check the version of the p2kseem.exe ? I never see anything appear in the white box. It does say that is is connected however. and I do get a blue background on my phone with light dots in when it is connected.
MSU?? I tried having motorola phone tools open and then opening P2K but when I say load from phone on the seem it displays a dialog box saying not connected.
You have it backwards, lol. You need to have MSU (Motorola Software Updater) open. MPT is Motorola Phone Tools.
Seems like I need to get a hold of MSU. I don't have that yet. I was able ironically to transfer a WMA file to the phone.. Shockingly easy with media player 10. Dumb question here and I will try to figure it out... Can ringtones be in WMA format?? thanks for all your help thus far
Ringtones have to be MP3 format. You can download MSU and any other programs you may still need here. http://hacktherazr.com/downloads.html
I have mine set for v3cm. I'll warn you though everytime I hook up my phone it sys no phone detected but after I run the phone wizard and check the Files System tab BitPim then retrieves the info from my phone.
