I just ordered my v710 what headphones should I use to listen to mp3's?
Are the headphones with the f.m. radio the only ones?

    Thanks

I'd love to get an adapter to make regular headphones fit into the 2.5mm adapter.... They sell them on ebay but overpriced...

I picked up an adapter from RS to adapt the 2.5mm jack on the phone to std. 1/8" minijack on most stereo headphones.
Only problem is it apears that since this jack is wired as a headset jack with a mic and a speaker , you only get audio from the one side in mono.
    I cant get stereo playback.

Anyone else find this to be the case?

Yep - just posted the same finding over on PS. You'd need to split that signal somehow, and then it still wouldn't be stereo (I think). I used to use my Jabra BT200 for Non-BT phones this way as a wireless headset at the gym (I didn't mind having the headset only on one ear). The adapter from Radio Shack was only a few bucks, but I don't like the way it sticks way out of the top of the V710. Feels like you could break something *really* easily.

So can you listen to mp3's with the f.m. stereo headsets?

At Radio Shack, not only do they have a jack that goes from 1/8 to 3/32, but they have a stereo 1/8 to a MONO 3/32.... This will let you use a stereo headset. I work there, but I can't remember the cat number off hand. I use this just fine.

I have seen a few posts stating that the headset that goes with the Moto MPX200 works great! The part number is HS525 SYN9870 - SYN9870
No one has reported that I have seen if the send/end function works. I would not think so since they are reversed (normal) on the V710.
