Just wanted to wish you all a happy holiday, whatever holiday it is that you celebrate. It's Christmas eve now, and I'll probably be busy for the next few days, so I may not post much.

PFP employees... I was going to hand out Christmas bonuses, but Yello took them and spent it all on booze and new knives for his collection.

    Merry whatever to you all.

Yes, Happy Generic Holidays to all! How many of us who celebrate Christmas are working on Christmas Eve, I wonder? And here's something else I've always wondered. Most Christians always get Chrismas off and a lot of people get Christmas Eve off. School children get a long holiday going into early January but it usually starts the week of Chrismas. Chanukah usually starts the week before Christmas so why don't schools, employers, etc. let Jewish children off for Chanukah? I don't think this is right. Does anyone have an excuse for this except for, "Chanukah is 8 days long," because I know if Christmas was 8 days long we would all have those 8 days off. I think this is a conspiricy. But anyway, I digress. Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Merry Kwanza and anything else I've forgotten. Remember kids: Scotch makes an appropriate gift for all occasions.

We're actually busy here. I can't figure out if it's because so many people have the day off but I figured it would be dead as it's Christmas Eve. Last year I remember it being dead as hell and getting off at least an hour early. I better not have to work my whole shift today or I'm going to be upset. Missing my Mom's Chiristmas Eve dinner so a bunch of people can cancel their cell phones? I don't think so. If I ruled the world no one would have to work (except restaraunts and retail... sorry) beginning with the first day of Chanukah and ending on January 2nd. So basically everyone gets an elementary school-style winter break. No one has to scramble to get off on New Year's, Christmas, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, Chanukah, etc, etc, etc. Oh yeah, and you would get paid for a normal 40 hour work week for this time. Of course, if I ruled the world there would be a CDMA v600 but that's just me.

Sorry sorry, I had practice last night and I just woke up.

Sorry about the bonuses guys, but there was this waitress and you know how I love body shots...

Anyway, Merry Xmas to you guys, hope you don't get too many lumps of coal, except for Ceno who I'm sure will bury some sort of explosive underneath them and blow them up.

    good luck angela!!!

    rancid,

bagpipes kick a$$. dropkick murphys use them alot. sounds great with guitars and bass. since i have an actual scottish family, all the weddings in the family have pipers and kilts. yes, i have worn a kilt in public!! my grandfather and my mom and most of her brothers are actually from scotland.

again, everyone have a great holiday. i am going to leave the store in about 40 minutes. then i am headed to the mall to buy myself some sort of expensive electronic toy as i usually do on christmas eve. you might see my icon changed to a flatscreen tv or something depending on what i get. maybe i'll just get another cd player for the car. who knows? maybe i'll ill go to the liquor store and buy $1000 of alcohol and just get really hammered over the next few days.

ooooooooooooh... i know what i want... a dvd player (roof mounted) for my car!! are they expensive?

No doubt, Big K. I'm also of Scottish descent and when I am married in October I will be wearing the kilt of my forebearers, Clan MacNab I love Dropkick Murphys and have all their albums and have seen them every time they've played Kansas. I can still remember when I first heard DKM. Bagpipes mixed with street punk? What a brilliant idea.

Works good for me (I'm on a cable modem), but if one of the mods can do it, go ahead, I don't know how to resize a pic from another site. I wish we could upload pics from our own pc like on dslrerpots.com, instead of having to link to some other site, then I could resize them.

My truck has 4 of them and 2 PS2's ...they're distracting until you come close to a wreck, then the novelty wears off..

On the practical side, when I shift to reverse the dash screen shows what's behind me [IMG].

In dash? I would think something like that would be illegal, if not, it should be. I'm sure you are responsible with it,
but I bet a lot of people wouldn't be, that's an accident waiting to happen.

oh it was an accident waiting to happen, trust me...but it only takes one close call.

I would have gotten a fold out unit, but since it also controls the radio/dvd/cd/air&heat and junk i needed one that wasn't motorized.

i already have the dash modified to almost the fullest extent with addons. i need the flip down unit. there are a few out there that cost about $1200 that seem like they might be worthwhile. i just need to find out if my new car is big enough for it. i dont think the people in the backseat would be able to see it well since the back seats arent far from where it would be mounted on the roof. i have a 2004 Neon SXT. (yes, i opted for the SXT rather than the SRT-4.. i didnt want to pay for the stock turbo unit that comes in the SRT-4. I have my own on its way that is better and more power. also have a $3000 suspension kit on its way. my car is going to be better than the SRT-4. Lighter, faster, and will handle better. better brakes too. all that for $2000 less than paying for the SRT-4!!)
anyway, i am going to have an install person give me their advice based on the car i have
