    My roommate picked up guitar hero for the Nintendo Wii over the weekend. We played for hours on Sunday. Now I feel like I got carpal tunnel syndrome in my left wrist...

    Any other Guitar Hero players here?

    I never thought I'd like Guitar Hero, but I asked my roommate to show me how since I figured it would probably be something my nieces would buy. They tried to get me to play DDR and that was a disaster. I hate DDR and Karoke. Guitar Hero is kinda cool because its full of 70's and 80's rock songs that I grew up listening to. At least with Guitar Hero the controller stays in one place. With DDR I have problems that I will shift on the mat and not be hitting the buttons anymore. I end up constantly watching my feet so I stay on the mat, and I miss the moves coming up.

    LOL, I've heard that there are some bars in the area that have Guitar Hero and Nintendo Bowling comeptitions.

    Ive got GTH 3 on Wii and its a blast, the wireless guitar is awesome. I play actual guiter and when my wife brought is home I laughed but its addictive. Im stuck on Knights of Caledonia on Expert.

    PS2 version is slightly different, I play some of the same songs vs some 12 years old and had my A$$ handed to me.

    I have Code of Conduct (WW2), rapala and Wii sports and play and its a blast.

    My roommate lucked out. He found it in our local Goodwill store, slightly used for $30.

    I have to disagree Eric, the only cure is "More Cow Bell"!

    Welcome to the rock revolution Jay! I was the same as you, didn't think I would like it, even making fun of my brother and friend for playingit. Then I borrowed my brother's GH2 and it was over. Now of course I have GH3 and just picked up the Rock Band game a week ago. The nice thing about GH3 on the X-Box is the guitar works with Rock Band.

    I went to my friends house yesterday and he showed me Guitar Hero II fo PS2. It looks like a cool game. Then I played bowling for the 1st time on the Wii and lost big time to his fiancee. I started getting the hang of it right at the end, but then we had to go to class.
