I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section..... In any case, I have the Samsung A500 phone with Sprint. They have this option to enable GPS service. I was wondering if you can have the option to let someone track you when GPS is enabled besides emergency services. I'm curious to know b/c what if you lose your phone? Are you able to somehow track it back down? Or what if you lend it to one of your family members, like your kid. I would like to know if they're really going where they say they're going. Thanks in advance for any input!
E911 is the only thing enabled on the Sprint network right now. You can't use your phone for any other location-based purpose, and probably won't be able to for at least 6 months-1 year. There's an answer in the FAQ Here, which is also a good download site for Vision phones.
