thats a shame..........they should e building these devices to show off what Android can do.....not their chips.............consumers care about wat they can see...........the software and functionality of a phone will impress them not how pretty the chips are
The chip vendors gotta sell their chips to the phone vendors before the phone vendors can do anything fun with them.
true i guess.............its just that the chips have been around for a while and they just keep finding more ways to fit more into less......Android is a fresh innovation............a new idea.........i want to see expansion on something fresh kinda like how UMTS and WiMax are more exciting than CDMA and AMPS and GSM
I'm still waiting for WIMAX to get deployed where I live. They've been promising it for a while now. Supposedly they delayed it so they could deploy mobile wimax. I finally might be able to kick AT&T to the curb.
The images of the Android software look pretty cool. I hear Google is tweaking it a little, but I welcome another OS option available for cell phones and smartphones.
yeah...........and i suppose that its good that chipmakers are working on hardware that handles the operating system efficiently...........like with Windows Mobile........most phones have a serious lag time................Symbian is generally pretty quick and my experience with Nokia phones overall has been excellent
