Starting Wednesday, Google Fi, formally Project Fi, will work with iPhones running iOS 11, as well as many new Samsung, LG, Moto and OnePlus phones running Android 7.0 or higher..... https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/28/goo...ce-expands-to-apple-iphone-more-androids.html
Keep in mind that (AFAIK) iPhones will not support Google Fi fully and will be limited to running on a single network (unlike Android phones that switch between several).
Interesting, I've read non-Google phone only run on T-Mobile in the past; where are you reading that iPhones won't switch carriers now?
Some article today that appeared in my Google feed , it basically said the same thing: iPhones will only run on T-Mobile and won't switch between that and other Fi carriers. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
I'm seeing those articles now too. They also say visual voice mail and WiFi calling won't work on the iPhone. So if you currently have an iPhone on T-Mobile and are happy with the coverage, Fi could possibly lower your monthly bill and give you cheaper data if you travel overseas.
I can't imagine Fi being cheaper than a T-Mobile plan. I guess it's possible if you use very little data.
The main draw of Fi is that unlike T-Mobile the data when roaming internationally is full speed for the same money.
