Gonna miss the "new to wireless forum"

Y'know, about a month ago, when I started coming here, I was completely phone-stupid. Not as bad as average Joe off the street, but knew nothing compared to most regular posters here.

I still know nothing compared to the regulars here, but I now have a decent bit of knowledge.

What I'm going towards is that the New to Wireless Forum was kinda nice, because when I had (still occasionally have) a question I thought was a blatant oversight of stupidity, I could just throw it there and not have to worry about what forum it really belonged in, or what forum would be really dumb to put it in, because everyone expects basic questions to show up in the NtW Forum.

Oh well, I'm gonna miss it, but I guess I don't need it any more. Just a general convenience for new users though.

    Later all
    P

It would be nice if that was still here. I am seeing a lot of posts that would fit best in a category such as New to Wireless.

Actually, I found that I moving more posts than I was leaving in that (now defunct) category.

Most of the questions dealt with:

    1. Service in a specific region (the regional forums answer that need)
    2. Specific phone make/models (the phone forums answer that)
    3. Using wireless data services (the miscellaneous technical forums address that)
