Go with Verizon or wait for AT&T GSM?

    Go with Verizon or wait for AT&T GSM?

    The title says it all. I'm in NYC and do travel nationally for business. Need a phone and service fast, should I go with Verizon now or wait for AT&T GSM service which is expected to roll out in a few weeks? Will GSM give me better voice/call quality than CDMA? My only concern with GSM is coverage. Is my concern warrented? Thanks.

    Go with Verizon, they will have better coverage. ATT GSM is **VERY** limited. The call quality probably won't be any better than Verizon's CDMA.

    Wait for a company to overlay GSM on thousands and thousands of cellsites all over the US?...... I don't think so.

    If you want GSM service I would go with voicestream. They have a much more expansive network then AT&T GSM. (Just make sure that there is digital services in the places that you travel)

    Verizon is also a good choice
