I'm currently using FreeUp and I've got the 2135. I like it alot but I am thinking about getting something smaller and perhaps with a different form factor as the 2135 doesn't feel right when I hold it up against my ear. Anyhow, I'm considering the Samsung N-150 and N-300 but I'm not sure where to get them and how much I will pay. Radioshack has a package on the N-150 but it's 300 bucks without an agreement and that's too steep. I've seen a few of these on Ebay and I'm wondering if I bought one off Ebay(locked to Verizon) if I could get my account moved to the new phone without having to pay a setup fee. When I bought my 2135, price was a much larger issue then it is now so I'd like to upgrade while I can. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I know you can transfer your minutes($$) and ## over to a new phone with FREEUP which is cool. I will probably do this myself too sometime. I can only hear right on that 2135 if my ear is right over the center of the hole, I hate it, I wish my stepdad didn't get it (he could have gotten the 120c but he thinks its ugly....umm the 2135 is the ugliest phone...ever...) Well, I don't know much more than that, so keep us updated, cuz I wanna know!! Good luck! [IMG] PS-- I was looking at some T-300's myself on there, they were used for the winter olympics.....they were qwest but their screen says Verizon now...so maybe it got switched.....it'd be nice to have one of those...but Im worried I'll get screwed.

I don't have a problem with the looks of the 2135(mine is black not that awful neon blue) but just the positioning on the ear is getting to be tricky and now that I'm starting to use the phone a bit more I want something more compact and also comfortable. Depending on if they'll charge me to transfer my account to the new phone, I may try to get one off of ebay. Just figured I'd get some opinions. I'd love a a true clamshell but the few that Verizon offers are just too expensive and seem to get mixed reviews from many. I figure one of the samsung flip phones will be a nice compromise.

Ya I think it is a good compromise. The ear piece does really suck on that fone, I agree. Well again, good luck!

You shouldnt have a problem switching phones. Just call up, tell them your phone is defective, and you want to do an "ESN" change. Any tri mode CDMA phone will work, as long as whoever sold it to you properly deactivated the phone. If not, the system will see that phone as still activated, stolen, lost, or whatever and they will not activate it for you.

Why not go with the 2235? Then you would have extra accessories. The earpiece on the 21/2235 is far superior to that of the 120 Regardless of which phone you choose, they won't charge you anything for an ESN change...

I was thinking about the 2235, but it seems to be more expensive on ebay and less available. Another factor is that I prefer the clamshell or flip style. I'm not positive what I'm going to get but I'm eyeing a Samsung N-150 now but I may end up getting something else if I can find a good deal. Thanks for the tips all.
