Since I've talked to a few different people at SPrint and get different answers, I thought I'd ask people here.
Currently My contract is up so I could go anywhere. However, my phone is in dire need of upgrading. I qualify for the $150 instant rebate but it would still cost me another $100 for a decent phone. Does anyone know how to have Sprint "offer" me a better deal to upgrade and renew a contract? I've been with them for 8+ years but they only care about new customers and you get a sweet deal like up to $300 off some phones for signing up.
    Thanks!

One thing you can probably get is free 7PM N&W for renewing for two years. Most customers who have asked for it (myself included) were given it with no argument at all. What they do is charge you the regular $5/mo and then credit it right back on each invoice.

yeah, they threw that one at me too. But my minutes are fine and my plan is old enough that my nights start at 8pm instead of 7pm, so that extra hour doesn't give me much value especailly since I never go over.
I just want a new phone and was hoping they could throw some extra credits or something my way.:(

I've never heard of them throwing in any additional phone discounts but I suppose anything is possible.

As discussed in our last interaction, you are eligible to get a $150.00
instant rebate after purchasing a new phone. As of now we can offer
    only this rebate.

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel.

You beat me to it. I agree, pretend you're going to cancel, and the you'll see how good of a deal they'll give you.

They won't always offer a great deal to stay. It depends on the rep you get and how badly they really want to retain the customer.

Isn't there like a limit they have set of how good a deal can be if they're still not convinced?
