Rock n 'Roll Jeopardy is fantastic, I played it all the time on my GF's vx10, but now she has the 4400 (thanks to me) so i don't know if they will/do make it for that.

    UNO

Classic card game where you can select between 1-3 opponents. Match the color of the card (red, green yellow, blue) or the number. Special cards like Draw 2, Wild card, Skip, Reverse can be played. First person to play all their cards wins. This game has different point systems which make it more interesting

Fun game and great time killer. I find myself coming back to this game over and over. The only flaw is that is if you get too many cards, then you have to scroll over left or right to see what other cards you have.

    Tetris

Do you remember the old classic from the early 90s? Well, it's back on cell phones...and it's just as good. It has a little guiding bar at the bottom of the game, to help guide your pieces into the right spots, which is a nice add-on. Like the old tetris, it's equally as addictive. Once you get good, it's really tough to beat your high scores. I'd say it's definitely worth a try.

Oh yeah, and as for bowling records, mine is 286. I still can't reach the big 300! [IMG]

    4.5 out of 5

(Wait, this is on GIN, right? I'm on mMode [IMG])

    Bowling: 5/5
high score: 299. (Do you know how depressing that is? Perfect game all the way through, just to get 9 on the last frame, thought I'd cry)

    Baseball: 4/5
pretty fun, except every now and then no one goes to retrieve a line drive to the wall, and I have to quit and go back in.

    Lord of the Rings: 5/5
More levels would be nice, it killed a day's worth of boredom for me!

    Family Fued:
No rank.. didn't want to play it because after I D/L'd it, I found out it charges airtime to play.

    Wheel of Fortune: 3/5
Would be a lot more fun if there was AI to play against.

downloaded the bowling game, since i like to bowl (my personal high is a 278). I think this game is simple in content and form, but, it is addicting. I find that in long lines @ the grocery store arent as long anymore, and my patience with idiots have gotten better(or most likely cuz im occupied, lol!) anyways, i recommend this game even if your not a bowler or a geek even[IMG] survey sayz.....5!!

Hey Shamo; I agree the Jamdat Blackjack game is the best of the bunch. I have a question there are a couple of payment options and the one that I think is $5.99 for unlimited use, is that a ONE-time payment or is that a monthly fee? I would be willing to make a one time payment of $5.99 for unlimited use, but NOT on a monthly basis.

If anyone knows the 411 on that, let me know!
    Thanks!

Unlimited means exactly that....Unlimited use. It's not a subscription, but a one time bill.

    Thanks for the 411 Malial;

Ya, I get that unlimited use, means unlimited usage but remember were dealing with Verizon here, so THEY could mean unlimited usage within say a 30 day period and then pay another $5.99 for the next 30 day period of unlimited usage, if you get my drift.

So good to know a ONE TIME fee of $5.99 means basically I own the game's and can play forever, right?

Now here is my next dumb question, does the Jamdat Casino game eat up airtime? I know that some of the GIN games use airtime and some don't.

Promise, last dumb question about Jamdat Casino!

Defender (Please note these games may not be available on GIN, I have mMode)

A classic, Defender is just an OK game for cell phones. I mean, unless you enjoy shooting enemies that pratically don't move, I guess it will be fun for you. You get only a few lives, and you move quite slowly. The high score screen is pretty buggy too, once it just stopped loading...I didn't get it at all. To be honest with you, I wouldn't buy this game.

    2/5

    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3

Do you remember the popular skating game that blazed through the videogame markets? Well, now it's on cell phones...and I must say...they did a pretty BAD job on it. I mean, come on...just a halfpipe? That completely defeats the entire purpose of the game! I mean, you get to do about 4 or 5 different tricks on 2 Halfpipes! Was the game company asleep or something? I guess it's ok...but it gets pretty boring after a while.

    2.5/5

    Thanks.

I don't believe Jamdat Casino uses airtime to play...Just keep an eye on you're phone connecting icon- anytime that lights up, you're using air time.

Anytime your phone connecting icon lights up - you're using minutes.

Sodapop does use minutes. As does AccuWeather and a few others.

    This is Jeopardy

This game is awesome, though there is a huge glitch on my A530 hopefully it was just the download. It occasionally makes my phone lock up and I have to turn it off and on by taking the battery out, it won't even turn off when pressing the button, of course I have only had the phone for 12 hours, but I still loved the game when I played it on the vx10.

Rockn'roll jeopardy is the bomb, my personal favorite.

    4/5

(5/5 requires the questions to be harder)

Yatzee: Needs some sound but the good old classic. If you like Yatzee, so ahead and d/l it. 4/5
Squareville Wusabi: Got the demo last night, it's a plain old game, but it's fun IMO. Burns up some free time, that's what cell phone games should do IMO. While EQ and all those games are fun, I'd rather just play something to spend some time while out and about. It's worth the 2 something dollars. I think I'll buy it.

    CHESS

    -
    On my A530-

I you love playing chess and got time to kill get this game, worth the 6.XX fee for unlimited use.

You can play against the computer or with an other player with the computer acting as a referee.
You can choose which color you want and you have the choice of three levels (Easy, Moderate, DIfficult)

The average thinking time of the computer on the Easy level is 5 seconds, while the average time on the Difficult level is 15-20seconds.
Be advised that the computer is dumb on Easy and can easily be beaten in less than 20 minutes, but the Difficult level, the computer will give you a run for your money, very HARD!!

    4.5/5

I like Ever Quest the best, the only downpoint is you need to be somewhat involved to play because it is an RPG, unlike bowling 9ball ect where you can just hit play and start a game, Ever Quest is a game that can be very addictive. . . I recomend it.

    hey
    bowling is a 4/5, i got a 300 once and a high series of 725.
Prince of Persia is a 3/5, controls arent as nice as previous versions
    Casino 2/5 too boring
Pitfall 4/5 perfect translation but the game itself is a little simple
bejeweled 2/5 this game is boring and requires no skill even on expert

i wouldn't pay for any of them though.

I think verizon purposely does this: Get it now like freezes and takes a while sometimes lol

Linez: Its fun but can get old. Just make 5 in a row of each color. Try the demo.

    Vindigo

Know it's not a game, but I think Vindigo is awesome.

I was in NYC the other day, looking for a Chinese restaurant near Times Square. Within 10 minutes I had the app downloaded and running. It gave me a list of all the restaurants in the area, the distance from my location, and walking directions.

It definitely rocks if you're in a city and you need to get somewhere.

I like the football. I haven't beaten the computer at level 9 yet and it's killing me! But I like it because it not one of those games you win and that's it. 4/5 (5/5 for value uphold)
Also NBA One On One is pretty cool. but the levels are too easy and once you win at the 3rd level, your left with nothing to shoot for. (No pun intended) 3/5 (1/5 once you win at the 3rd level, which is easy to do, there is no where to go)
And Jamdat Racing is pretty cool. Not difficult but keeps you going through 4 different tracks. Once the 4 are completed you start again racing different directions on the track. So far I've done 7 various tracks/directions. 3/5 (4/5 because I like racing games)

Quick question, after you download a game (ex. bowling) and go to the Get It Now screen to play it, are you using your minutes?

Depends on the game. If you ever see the "little phone" come up on the top of your screen (like when you make a call) you're using minutes. Otherwise, no...
