A friend with a g1 asked me today if there is a way to hook up the g1 to a printer to print a document from the phone internet when all they have available is the phone and printer? Such as no dial up or broadband? In other words there only computer available at the time is basically the phone.

That is a good question. Since I'm not familiar with the Android OS, I'll just enumerate the connectivity options. WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, and a mini-USB connector.

You've got me curious enough to hunt for an Android features list.

This is the most informed discussion I saw about this matter. Here another thread.

Therefore, I would say, not yet.

I plugged my G1 into my printer today, and all the printer was able to do was read the pictures off of my memory card and print them. It would be cool to print out PDFs and what not over my wireless network, but I its not a feature built into android.
