funny how wireless providers (NEXTEL) blatently deceive.....

    So this was in the news today: Spam Clogs Nextel's SMS System

    While they probably have issues with SPAM and it might be a cause for the delayed text messaging issues, it is not the complete truth.

    --->"which Nextel says started in mid-March" This Thread was started back in October '04, several months before mid march. "Brown, however, says the problem has been occurring only for a few weeks and that these other complaints must be referring to text messaging problems that affected a few customers." yeah o.k.

    Maybe they should have mentioned this inter-company memo that speaks of packet data outages. I don't see SPAM mentioned anywhere in this memo.

    Too funnay........ just come clean and tell the customers the facts. I wish companies would be more proactive and honest rather that reactive and deceitful.
