So I am able to connect to the Yahoo gatewy (http://wap.oa.yahoo.com) but when I try to login, I can't enter my password correctly becaues I can't get capital letters in. My password has capital letters and on the screen I see a LOWER menu item on the left, but clicking that just gives me an option to enter numbers. Any idea how I change the letters to upper case? I changed my yahoo password to all lower case letters and was able to successfully login, but I don't want to do that cause I like my password.
    Any ideas?

this is a phone issue. when the letter you want appears, press the down arrow key to get lower case, or the up arrow key to get it in upper case. be sure to do this when the cursor block is OVER the letter ONLY

I tried that - and it works in most cases - except when I am using the browser. In the browser, by default it uses lower case letters and if I hit the up arrow while the cursor is highlited, it changes it to an astrisk (since I am typing in a password). The password fails every time.
    Thanks though

Some of you seem like web pros when it comes to the T720, so I'll try asking this here:

Do any of you know how to change the amount of time before the phone "time's out" on the web? Let me give you an example..

When I'm on the web on my T720, looking at sports scores, the weather, headline news, etc., I go to the first page, and as I begin scrolling down the phone will "time out" or lose its connection with the Mobile web network. Then, when I get to the bottom of the page to hit "Next Page," it goes through this process of "Connecting..." "Sending..." crap with the hourglass.

If the phone wouldn't time out, however, and stayed connected, I'd be able to click "Next Page" and go right to it. Usually it times out after about 5 seconds. Is there anyway to change this?

OK, I figured out how to get into my Yahoo account using WapTunnel with my password (which has upper case letters). In case anyone is interested, this has two benefits.

    1) This solution allows my phone to remember my user name and password
    2) I can enter my upper case password to login to Yahoo!

Here is what you have to do: Set your home page with the following URL: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=login&src=home&login=<yourusername>&passwd=<yourpassword>

    <yourusername> replace with your username
    <yourpassword> replace with your password

You may think that my mention of replacing your username and password is obvious and I shouldn't have mentioned it, but I sent the same url to a friend of mine and he didn't replace that info. She was upset with me for not being clear - we are no longer friends [IMG]

"In case anyone is interested"?!? This is fantastic! It was the final missing piece to making my phone-based web browsing perfect. I continue to be amazed by the arcane and useful knowledge people have.

If you have Verizon, download links have been blocked from WAP sites. With GSM/AT&T, download links from your MatrixM locker works great. Sign the on-line petition.

To add to my earlier email, if you want to make the Mail page your home, you can do so by replacing
    "raw?dp=login&src=home" part with "raw?dp=login&src=mail1"

I found this out by going to the http://wap.oa.yahoo.com site using IE and looking at the source of the form area. I have set mine to go to my mail directly. Once you're logged in though, you can get to your calendar etc also. I just wish you could also get to "My Briefcase" so that I could try and download some pics [IMG]
