I paid about $16 dollars for the holster. As far as the charger, the only way I've found to remove the phone is to "rip it out" as you said. Not an easy task after a night of bar hopping...

Im about to get the half-holster, I bought the full leather case for the phone, but it doesn't allow you to quickly pop the phone off. At least with the OEM, you can snap the phone off real quick. Also, if you keep your phone on your belt, the full leather case is hard to take off. If your a female (or carry a purse) then the leather one would work great.

I bought a leather case from the Verizon store when I bought my phone. I don't like it much, it takes away the "cool" look of the phone. I haven't really used it.

The easiest way to take it off the charger, for me, is to lean it over towards the left and then lightly take it out while pulling in the left direction. I think that's the proper way to do it.

The holster in the VZW Store where the T720 accessories are is the complete holster which covers the entire phone. I've only seen this half-holster on the internet. The complete holster at the Verizon store costs more, and it covers my beautiful face-plate (anyone else have that "checkout" plate, where it's black around the caller ID area and fading to silver as it goes down?).

I thought I ordered that half holster, but I didn't. I am in the process of doing it now.

Well, I just ordered it. This better not be a credit card scam. If so, I've got my 12 gauge pump-action shot gun right here.

The half leather case you guys are referring to, are carried at most local Circuit City stores for about $14.99 + tax they carry the AT&T model but it takes the same accesories as other versions of the T720 I hope this helps.
