Foreign texting, please help

    Right, so I live in england but am wanting to text someone from austria (so with an austrian mobile number), however, at the moment this person is on holiday in spain.. How do I send texts to them? Will I need the area code of austria? or spain? or?

    Thanks in advance, Im struggling to get these texts to them! cheers

    Hi there, you should be able to text by using + then country code of Austria and then the complete Austrian Mobile Number irrespective of where that person is.

    Thanks alot for your reply, however next problem is that I don't know the code for austria lol sorry im useless with this stuff haha

    anyone know the country code for austria?

    The country code for Austria is 43.

    Just key +43 plus the area code (omitting the leading zero) plus the number.
