I will be voting early either tomorrow or Thursday at my local main library (it is only 1.5 miles from my house).
Well my dad, mom, and I went to vote early at our local library earlier this evening. We got there 15 minutes before the polls closed for the day and had to wait about 6 minutes in line before we presented our driver's license. We also voted for representatives on the local and state level. My sister filled out her absentee ballot last week so she is also done voting early.
I voted today upon discovering the early voting sites will be open until 7 P.M. each day during early voting. I planned to wait until election day when I saw the long lines at my closest early voting site. I went to the site after 5 and I was done in less than 30 minutes, including the wait.
All of the early voting locations down in SW Florida are open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday. I believe these are the hours in most if not all early voting locations in Florida.
Before the governor signed an executive order on Tuesday, the early voting sites around Leon County were only open from 8 am to 4 PM or 10 am to 6 PM. Some neighboring counties had varying hours as well and it wasn't from 7 till 7. Here's the link that I saw: Early Voting Hours Extended
The freshly made lemonade and cookies they had at the voting place today has certainly offset the 2-minute wait in line for me
Just voted. This was the shortest wait & the nicest weather that I recall. Palm850/v0100 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11)
Got back from voting about half an hour ago, this place was walking distance from my house, and no waiting nice.
I didn't vote. My absentee ballot is sitting on the shelf untouched. As long as the current President leaves, I don't really care who wins. Just don't drink the Kool-Aid
I did well in my polling place yesterday, from 1210-1220 (one of two voters present). Selected Presidential electors, US Senator and Rep, TN Senator and Rep, one school board member at large, two County ordinances, two City ordinances, and six City charter referendums. I did my reading in advance, and brought along a marked sample ballot! COtech
