This is a few days late but I went ahead and made the corrections.
I originally posted this site in the gallery thinking it was a Bellus UMTS site, but upon further research at some of the new WIND Mobile cell site locations I found out that is what this site really was and went ahead and made the corrections.

Here is the link to it in the gallery.

Check it out if you haven't already!

Had I known that this was a WIND site, I would've tried to get better close up shots of the equipment and what not.

Now that I know where a lot of them are located, I'll be posting more hopefully in the next little while. Time permitting that is.

Thanks. The little squares under the antennas are TMA's? (Tower Mounted Amplifiers) ...or something else?

...also, do you know who the equipment vendor is for WIND? Is it Ericsson? Alcatel-Lucent?

I might be wrong, but it could be Alcatel-Lucent. I think I read somewhere that they have a 3 year contract with WIND.

Ah yea, it is Alcatel-Lucent, just found the press release. Sounds like a turn-key deal, where Alcatel-Lucent builds and runs the network the first 3 years, then turns it over to WIND afterwards.

    W.M.

You seem to be in the area where a lot of the WIND sites are. Is this the only design that they use for their sites?
I'm only asking because I heard that they had a bunch of temporary towers up when they first came out and were planning on building newer one. Is that so?
