The service allows subscribers to send live streaming video during a normal phone call. The wireless carrier, owned entirely by San Antonio-based AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), will make the video service commercially available sometime in 2007. Through the service, a customer starts off by making a normal phone call. However, during that call, subscribers will be able to hit a button to activate a feature to capture live video. The person receiving the call will be able to see what the caller sees while they are talking on speakerphone. The service also will be able to switch the direction of the video stream during the same phone call. Cingular is deploying the service through its 3G Universal Mobile Telephone System/High Speed Downlink Packet Access network and Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem platform.
Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: LG-CU500 Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0) Will it work with my lg at500? If so how much will it cost?
Talk about wordy! I can resume all that to "Cingular is deploying the service through its 3G UMTS/HSDPA network and IPMS platform."
yes i do, my typing needs some work. ive read somewhere that i need a lg cu500v in order to do that.:loony:
Ahhh, typing. I am constantly going back and editing posts for typing errors. I know my Moto A845 is supposed to be compatible. It even has 2 send keys. One for voice calls, and one for video calls. Once we confirm the service is operating maybe we should try to initiate a call and see if your phone does it. -Jay
