Whats your favorite sandwich place?
Oh wait, they don't have sandwiches.
"yo quiero Taco Bell"!
Of the original 3 listed, I think Quiznos gets my vote.
yeah same here Quiznos, but then i also like Subway
so 1 vote each.
Ever since I discovered Quizno's a few years ago, I haven't been able to eat Subway.
Schlozski's was good too, but I haven't seen any around for a while, guess they went under.
Same here. Quiznos is the way to go, ill never go back to subway again.
Jersey Mikes? We have Schlozski's here too.
I do like the Jersey Mike's GIANT subs... ! (only some have my favorite buffalo chicken though)
Shut up! You do not like Baja Fresh! Which one...the one at Polaris? I have been to just about all and they all suck like a bad Chipotle...not that I like Chipotle!
Quiznos. MMMMMM Toasty
Hella toasty. I like the Black Angus steak sub. Oooh, this thread is making me hungry.
Saigon Sandwich, Turk & Larkin Sts, SF.... banh mi (Viet sandwiches with pork, chicken, or pate and cilantro, garlic spread, chiles and pickled veggies on a crusty roll) for $1.75.
Oh... you want me to pick? Quiznos I guess...
Have we heard of a chain called "Panera's"?
Yeah, they're good.
It's the only place I know of to get fish tacos now that I am not in SoCal.
I have got to go with Penn Station. The best hot subs. Of the three listed I would choose Subway, only because I have never had the other two.
I'll have to vote for Subway. I use to eat there a lot and I lost around 150 pounds on the Subway diet.
Your new nickname is Jared.
I'm down 32 lbs just by eating meat, eggs, bacon, cheese, and salad... thank you Dr Atkins!
Hey, Baja Fresh is OK when you want gringo Mexican. Living in LA means never having to eat bad Mexican food, though... Carnitas Michoacan or Tortas México are way better (and hella cheaper).
Matt... make your own fish tacos. Make a runny batter, deep fry some whitefish (mahi or whatever), eat in corn tortillas with shredded cabbage, cilantro salad dressing (indistinguishable from crema mexicana), spicy salsa, avocado, cheese and lime juice. Or grill the fish which is what we do. Remember, friends don't let friends eat fish tacos at Baja Fresh (or La Salsa, or Wahoo's).
I do make my own fish tacos actually. Sometimes I feel lazy though.
It's funny how different Ohio is from SoCal. You are right, I would never eat Baja Fresh out there. The Baja Fresh store I went to all the employees speak Spanish. Talk about authentic! There is actually an excellent little Mexican place right down the street from me though. I have never seen another English speaking person in there whenever I am there and they are always showing futbol on the tv's. It's the best Mexican food I have had outside of CA, TX, and of course, Mexico.
Fish tacos??? I had one of those last night.
anyone ever had brain tacos?
I had Taco Bell once or twice, yeah.
not that i ordered them, i had ordered "carne asada" (steak for the gringos) and when i got them ii had my mouth wide open took a bite and noticed a strange taste kinda of mooshy when i looked at them, the brains look like little earth worms, i asked Julio, well he's name wasn't really Julio but he look like a Julio what kind of tacos he had given me and he replied "Cesos Señor" (cow brains)
so i said huuum!, tasty give me three more....no, just kidding, so i eventually got my steak tacos, but really the brain tacos weren't that bad.
Justin I know you and what you meant by that. You sick sick man lol
lol, i hate jared sooo much....along with all of those damn commericals!
The origins of fish tacos...
(In a week...nobody will ever click on one of my links again)
If it's any consolation, i love those guys....
I've already stopped clicking on them... I don't need to, they all go to the same place.
