I had been using verizon for the past 4 years, and I have upgraded my phones several times since then. My contract ends in less than a year, however I would like to ask if it is possible to add my previous phones to my account as a family plan without extending my contract? Thanx in advance

No chance. They'll make you sign a new service contract. The good thing is that this will NOT affect when you can upgrade your phone(s).

If you want to add a phone to a contract without extending it you would have to purchase it at full retail price.

You know if these older phones aren't GPS compliant with the new cellular E911 system they probably won't let you activate them again.

Your service contract WILL be extended when you change your plan to FamilyShare.

And the OP wants to use an old phone, not get a new one.

If he's upgraded phones several times in the last 4 years, this shouldn't be an issue.
