Just picked up a Nokia 3360 from ATT Wireless. Any suggestions on getting an external antenna to improve reception?

my reception with the 3360 from Cingular is fine...I wouldn't want an external antenna :) Are you talking about one that attaches to your phone or one you put in your house to get better reception there?

I found a Nokia car kit for the 3360(cark-133) at the Canyon River Cellular website that hooks to an outside antenna. It sells for $160. The only rub is that it says that Nokia is not shipping them at this time. So if you are interested, you may want to call Canyon River or Nokia customer service for info. Here is the thread for the kit at Canyon River. http://canyonriver.com/accessory_NOK3360.html

    Try this link:Wireless phone service

They have a passive connector that goes over your phone, dont know if it works but I was going to try it with my Etrex Venture GPS reciever which doesnt have an external antenna plug either.

In reference to the above post/link:

It is refreshing to see a company be honest in its evaluation of a product. Passive repeaters truly are of questionable value and this site lets potential buyers know this in advance.

What type of external antenna(House, car kit)?

I have heard from several different people that when using your hands free earbud, it also acts like a external antenna!

Wilson antenna has a similar passive feeder to go to an external antenna. Also a product called Untenna. Can't speak to the reliability / performance of either.

You might be able to get a 11db for it, let me research for you.
